Certified by UTAC, ECO GAS® has been scientifically tested using roller bench techniques by independent bodies recommended by the French Environment and Energy Management Agency, ADEME. Other independent bodies have carried out on-road or in-situ tests. All of these tests have shown ECO GAS® to be effective on all surfaces and in all conditions.
Le Moteur Moderne, member of the AVL group, tested ECO GAS® based on the NEDC cycle, before and after 4,000 km of use. The laboratory found that fuel consumption was reduced by 8.58%, while emissions of particles and all harmful gases between two bench tests were also reduced:
The ECF site in Montauban carried out on-road testing of ECO GAS® using the driving behaviour analysis solution designed by TSR International, to guarantee that the vehicle was bring driven identically between two test runs.
The conclusion? ECO GAS® reduced fuel consumption by 9.26%!
Three agricultural machines were selected by the AILE, a local energy agency created by the Brittany ADEME and the CUMAs (Cooperatives for the Use of Agricultural Equipment), to measure power take-off and to observe yield improvements. The yield increased significantly, as specific consumption was found to be reduced by between 5.76% and 8.07% depending on engine speed.
Power and torque also increased for all machines and at all engine speeds.
Depending on the type of machine and engine speed, power-based consumption is reduced by between 5.24 and 11.76% thanks to ECO GAS®.
After three measurements by the ARAGO Centre for Research & Development on an installation equipped with a cast-iron boiler, with ECO GAS® the running time of the boiler was 8% longer, for the same quantity of fuel.
With ECO GAS® and improved adjustment, running time was found to increase by 14%.
